  • Marketing Associate

    This is a critical role in our organization reporting directly to the Executive VP of Operations & the CEO, as we are looking for an experienced Marketing Professional that will be tasked with collaborating and implementing effective marketing strategies that align with the firm’s business goals. The ideal candidate has a solid Marketing background and work experience managing a variety of promotional projects end-to-end, including paid advertising and digital marketing campaigns. This person is a proven lead generator running new business consumer focused programs as well as B2C and B2B campaigns. This leader should also represent our Core Values (Customer Success, Trust, Loyalty, Employee Success) and inspire greatness on a daily basis.

    The day-to-day responsibilities:
    - Work with the CEO to develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness and produce quality leads for the Sales and Business Acquisition teams. The goal is to power growth.
    - Oversee a variety of promotional projects end-to-end, including paid advertising and digital marketing campaigns. The goal is to target new client business and acquisitions.
    - Set short-term and long-term marketing goals while monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of the marketing campaigns.
    - Develop and manage a network of outside vendors to supplement the team’s work.
    - Evaluate the work of outside vendor partners to determine the value and ROI of each initiative.
    - Prioritize marketing projects and work with the CEO to allocate resources accordingly.
    - Provide regular performance reports and status updates to the CEO and EVP of Operations. Build and maintain effective relationships with the media and stakeholders.
    - Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth.
    |- Track competitors’ activities and advise the CEO and EVP of Operations on trends and innovative ideas.
    - Provide guidance and insight for effective marketing events over time.
    - Ensure all marketing collateral is approved through compliance prior to use.

    Skills and Qualifications

    A successful Marketing Associate should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Marketing. This team player should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience directly managing a variety of marketing programs and vendor partners. Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns, including digital marketing is necessary. Good public speaking and communication skills along with a professional appearance and demeanor are also critical for the position.

    The ideal candidate for this role would have:
    - 3-5 year’s experience directly creating and executing marketing programs, effectively building brand awareness and creating new leads for the business to grow
    - Solid knowledge of SEO & SEM, reputation management, web analytics, social media advertising, Facebook Ads Manager, and Google AdWords
    - Formal marketing training is required, and experience in the financial services industry is an advantage
    - Experience managing a team of marketers is an advantage
    - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal
    - Very Organized, Detail Oriented & Multi-tasker
    - Strong Problem-Solving Skills and ability to make difficult decisions
    - Proven strategic planning and budgeting experience
    - Capability to represent our Core Values Daily
    - Demonstrated experience setting, monitoring and meeting quarterly and annual marketing goals
